The Constant Name

Disgraced aristocrat Nigel Whitlock is pardoned from a lunar prison to investigate his detective father’s murder. Teamed with a powerful psion, a hulking alien, a quirky technician, and his own clone, Nigel uncovers a conspiracy involving corporate titans, political corruption, and an ancient cosmic entity threatening to enslave the galaxy. He must confront his past and embrace his unwanted destiny to save humanity, even if it means becoming an outlaw in a world ruled by brazen depravity and outdated 80s pop culture.

Nigel Whitlock was just your average ex-aristocrat doing time for a little light sabotage until his late dad’s mistress-marshal sprung him from prison and tossed him headfirst into a galactic murder mystery. Now, with his alien best friend, a psychic, a sarcastic AI, and his own clone (awkward), Nigel must outwit power-mad politicians and cultists obsessed with a cosmic entity called the Constant Name. The stakes? Only the minds of every living thing in the Milky Way. If Nigel can’t stop a galaxy-wide psychic group hug, he might just end up sharing brain space with his enemies, and what could possibly go wrong with that?
